route, borders, and the necessary vehicle preparation.<\/p><p>Of course, there is the more economical option of the <b>bus<\/b>.<\/p><p>In this case, however, you will need to check the frequency of the routes from Thessaloniki to <b>Blagoevgrad<\/b>, as well as the routes from there to Bansko.<\/p><p>Also, keep in mind that you will need to walk about 3 kilometers from the bus station to the bus stop to take the bus that goes to Bansko.<\/p><p>If you don&#8217;t want to walk (and I completely understand that), you will need to take a taxi to that specific stop.<\/p><p>Furthermore, these <b>itineraries<\/b> are not the same all year but they change seasonally.<\/p><p>Therefore, before deciding to use the buses, get informed about all the details of the bus routes and schedules.<\/p><p>The same applies to train itineraries.<\/p><p>There is a train that starts from Thessaloniki and has Sofia as its final destination.<\/p><p>In previous years, this train made a stop in Blagoevgrad, from where you could go with your group to Bansko.<\/p><p>However, it is good to make sure that the train you take stops in Blagoevgrad since the schedules
