For this reason, it has earned the nickname &#8220;<b>the Greek Hawaii<\/b>.&#8221;<\/p><p>Kavourotrypes is approximately 125 kilometers away from Macedonia Airport Skg in Thessaloniki. Access to Kavourotrypes can be a bit challenging as there is no proper signs on the road, and part of it is a dirt road. Nevertheless, with proper preparation and the use of GPS, you can reach the beach and enjoy the enchanting scenery. You won&#8217;t find an organised parking for your car, so you will have to park on the road just before the beach, as everyone else does.<\/p><p>Upon arriving at Kavourotrypes, you&#8217;ll realize that it&#8217;s not a single beach but a complex of smaller beaches. If you prefer to avoid crowds and relax at Kavourotrypes without having to search free space for your belongings, it would be best to avoid the peak months of July and August. You can plan your vacation during early summer or autumn when there are fewer visitors, and the beaches at Kavourotrypes have more available space and tranquility.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight );\">However, it&#8217;s good to know that the beaches at Kavourotrypes are <\/span><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><b>rocky<\/b><\/span><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight );\">, so extra care is needed when entering or exiting the water. Additionally, the beach does not have a lifeguard.<\/span><\/p><p>If you decide not to stay at the organized beach, you should bring an umbrella, mat, hat, and of course, <b>sunscreen <\/b>to avoid sunburn from the hot sun. Located at the southernmost tip of the Sithonia peninsula and just 25 kilometers from Neos Marmaras, this beach&#8217;s uniqueness lies primarily in the great and <b>steep depth<\/b> of its waters. Just a few steps from the shore, the sea deepens abruptly. The deep blue color indicates that the seabed is many meters below. It is no coincidence that during World War II, the Germans used this <b>natural harbor <\/b>for their ships and submarines.<\/p><p>Due to its great depth, this beach attracts spearfishing and fishing enthusiasts. If you enjoy these activities, you will certainly have a great time at this beach. Access is easy as the beach is located right on the road, and you will follow a route through the <b>pine trees<\/b> to get there.<\/p><p>You won&#8217;t find crowds at Porto Koufo. However, you will certainly enjoy the natural beauty and the scenery of the village.
